Dr. Visconte earned her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from McNeese State University and her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. She is licensed as a Counseling Psychologist, Professional Counselor, and Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Visconte is also an approved Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and is listed as a Clinical Treatment Provider on the Louisiana Registry of Sexual Offender Treatment Providers. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings and is experienced in counseling and forensic evaluation of adults and adolescents.

Dr. Lobrano earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2014, and a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2005, both from Louisiana Tech University. He performs a variety of assessments to include a number of court-referred evaluations, public safety evaluations, pre-surgical evaluations, and evaluations for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Lobrano also provides court testimony and consultation services for attorneys. He is experienced in counseling individuals for emotional, personality, and trauma-related problems.

Dr. Russell received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tulsa in 2009, and completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Oklahoma Forensic Center through the Northeastern Oklahoma Psychology Internship Program, and a postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology through Lubbock Regional MHMR Center and Texas Tech University. She worked as a Psychologist, and then Chief Psychologist, at North Texas State Hospital, providing evaluations and treatment to forensic psychiatric patients, and then at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, where she conducted Compensation and Pension examinations, and also provided psychological treatment to veterans. Dr. Russell was a contributing author to a textbook on forensic psychology, and has also co-authored a book chapter on predatory and affective violence, and has provided workshop presentations on violence risk assessment and competency to stand trial evaluations for the State of Texas Department of State Health Services. She has expertise in forensic evaluations, including: competency to stand trial, mental state at the time of the offense, dangerousness risk assessment (including sex offender risk assessment), child custody evaluations, and sentencing/mitigation evaluations.

Mrs. Rawls earned a Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. She provides counseling with adults and children ages 5 and up. She has additional training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Mrs. Rawls assists the psychologists in forensic evaluations such as custody evaluations and psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations for learning disabilities and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, veteran compensation and pension evaluations, and disability evaluations. Mrs. Rawls is a registered treatment provider for sex offenders and helps conduct an Intensive Treatment for Sex Offender Program. Mrs. Rawls helps conduct a Parenting and Anger Management Program. She completes home visits and supervised visititations.

Ashley Warren, PLPC

Mrs. Warren earned a Masters degree in Counseling from Louisiana State University Shreveport. She is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, administrative assistant, and the psychological technician in our office. In this role she provides counseling services, administers and scores testing, and provides behavioral observations to help our psychologist complete their evaluations.

Dr. Vigen is a founding member of our practice. He specializes in individual and marital therapy, and public safety evaluations and consultations. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 1976. He, along with several colleagues, has published several articles on the prediction of violence in prison settings among several other topics in psychology. He has worked on many criminal and family law cases. He is licensed in Louisiana and Texas. Dr. Vigen has served on the psychology faculty at LSUS and Centenary College and has been in full-time private practice in Clinical and Counseling Psychology since 1982.

Ronald Goebel, PhD

Dr. Goebel is a founding member of our practice. He received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Tulane University in 1969, with major emphasis in Higher Cognitive Processes. He completed his internship in Clinical Psychology in 1973 at the University of Florida - Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainseville, Florida. He then completed a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology, also at the University of Florida.
